CLASSES FOR CHILDREN AT THE CATSHILL DANCE CENTRE

Our aim with the childrens' classes is to teach them to dance and mix socially with other children in a fun way. If you have relaxed, happy children they will learn so much better. Listed below are the classes we offer:

NEW MID-WEEK JUNIOR DANCE CLUB for 7yrs+

Starting Wednesday 8th September
5pm to 6pm - £4
Covering lots of different dance styles


MUSICAL THEATRE CLASS

In this class we will be developing the childrens performance skills, working on dance, acting and musical items, using pieces from musical shows such as Oliver, Annie, Grease etc.

Re-starting after the summer break Wednesday 1st September
6pm to 7pm - £4


ROSETTE CLASS for 3yrs to 6yrs

In Ballroom, Latin, Freestyle, Rock & Roll

Tuesday 5.30pm to 6pm - £2.50
As from Tuesday 7th September


SATURDAY MORNING JUNIOR DANCE CLUB for 7yrs+

10.30am to 12 noon - £4.50
Re-starting Saturday 4th September


FREESTYLE ROCK & ROLL

for 7yrs to 12yrs - 5pm to 6pm - £4

for 9yrs to 16yrs - 6pm to 7pm - £4

Both classes re-starting after the summer break on Monday 6th September


SALSA

7pm to 7.30pm - £2.50

Re-starting after the summer break on Monday 6th September


STREETDANCE & HIP HOP

for 10yrs to 16yrs - 6pm to 7pm - £4

Re-starting after the summer break on Tuesday 7th September


JUNIOR PRIVATE TUITION IS AVAILABLE


The Saturday Morning Session is taught by Diane, with Qualified Dance Consultants Liz Mois, Louisa Kelleher & Victoria Sketchley.

The STREETDANCE & HIP HOP class is taught by Heather Waldron (Qualified Dance Consultant).

The ROSETTE CLASS for the younger children is taken by Diane and Heather.

The MUSICAL THEATRE CLASS is taken by Louisa and Victoria.

We hold I.D.T.A. examinations three times a year for those children who wish to take a dance medal with a Showcase Presentation shortly afterwards where the children have the opportunity to showcase their dancing to their parents, grandparents etc, after which they are presented with their trophies.
