WINNER of the I.D.T.A. W.J. TASKER STUDENT of the YEAR AWARD

One of the Catshill Dance Centre's Dance Consultants, Vicky Sketchley, was presented with the I.D.T.A. W.J. TASKER STUDENT of the YEAR AWARD, by President Mr. Richard Hopkins, at the Midlands Area Meeting held at Brierley Hill. This annual award is presented to any candidate who has taken a Student examination and has achieved a high mark. They will then be invited to submit an essay, which is judged by the Faculty Chairman. All branches of dance are eligible, and Vickys was in the Freestyle Branch. She has since qualified as an Associate in Freestyle. Owner, Don Hopper and Diane, Head Teacher are very proud of Vickys achievement.

SPONSOR DISCO raising money for the British Heart Foundation

Pupils and staff have raised a fantastic £1,000 for the British Heart Foundation.

Here are Jasmine and Ethan, Don's grandchildren, who have taken medals. Jasmine enjoys Ballroom, Latin, Freestyle and Rock & Roll dancing.
