New Adult Classes

starting in January

A new Ballroom & Latin Beginners Class will be starting on Sunday, 15th January. Learn all the popular Ballroom and Latin dances, including: Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive. This class will run between 6pm and 7.15pm and will cost £6.

Tuesday, 10th January sees the start of our new Beginners Argentine Tango Class. This will run between 8.30pm and 9.30pm and will cost £6.

What do we do?

Whether it is for pure Beginners, Social Dancing or Medal Work the Catshill Dance Centre offers all levels of training for adults and children in all branches, including:

Our youngest pupil is 3 years old and our most mature pupil will be 86 years old next birthday.

Perhaps you may wish to improve your own dancing, working on your style and hold etc. Group Private Lessons are available if you and your friends would like to learn together.

We can also offer Professional training in all branches for new Teachers or already qualified Teachers who would like to gain further qualifications.

A little bit about us..

Opening in 1971, the Catshill Dance Centre is a full-time Dance School and is owned by Don and Carol Hopper.

Don is a full Examiner in the International Dance Teachers' Association (I.D.T.A.) and has over 50 years experience in dance, firstly as a Ballroom Competitor and then a Dance Teacher.

Now semi-retired the Dance Centre is run by Diane Edwards, also a full I.D.T.A. Examiner, having been trained by Don from a raw beginner to where she is now - an Examiner in all branches for more than 15 years.
